Punch!
As we approach the end of May, Karen and I are looking forward to an important milestone! Our son Mark is graduating from the United States Naval Academy and being commissioned as an officer in the US Navy.
As you would expect, we'll be traveling to Annapolis to celebrate, and as a result, our schedule at the gym will be affected mildly. Here's the scoop:

For many who follow some sort of eating plan, Sunday is an “off” day. Many eating plans include one day each week that allows for copious consumption of anything. Eat whatever you want and however much you want! It’s a great day!
It’s no secret in our gym that my off days are really off. I’m pretty good about what I eat during the week (not perfect!), but on weekends, I have “permission” to go bonkers. I’m very good at bonkers.

Karen and I attended a book signing last night. The authors are local, they spent years researching the material, and they have some great ideas about nutrition. Some of the topics raised in their opening remarks got me thinking though…not always a “safe” thing for me to do.

Food! I love food! Don't you love food?
I really love food on my "off" days. All the fun stuff I get to eat! I particularly love ice cream, Oreos, and M&M's...all by the pound. Hey! It's 24 hours! Don't be judgmental...
